UNBLOCKING THE INTERNET(PART 1)
Now a days in people face many situations when they are not able to access a website because of the reason it has been blocked . Many institutions are blocking some parts of the Internet that we want to surf . So as we go in schools , colleges and even in our office some websites have been banned . So here I am to tell you some ways how you can bypass these !
Now majorly there are two kinds of ways to bypass these . In this post i am going to focus on 1st that is to use a intermediate website in one way or the other to fool the proxy server or whatever is creating the blockage .
So some of the ways are :-
- Using Archived pages :- There are some websites that keep track of the websites from the very beginning they are formed . They just save a local copy on the website on their server so that anyone can access it in future if anything happens to the website or the website changes .
Just go to http://wayback.archive.org/ and enter the web page you want to go to .
- Using Cached pages :- Similar to archived pages , many websites such as google , yahoo etc keep a cached copy which we can see just by clicking 'Çached' .
- Using translation pages :- This is a good way to fool your proxy server . At websites such as translate.google.com you can directly go there and type the website you want to open , though the website opened may differ from the actual website , but we are ready to go !
- Format conversion :- There are certain conversion apps available on the Internet that allow you to download a pdf copy of the website you want to see . http://www.web2pdfconvert.com/ is one .Google Search to find many ( if google is not blocked ! ) .
- Webpages through email :- There are many websites that send a copy of the website to your email as an attached file and you can open it then . eg :- Send an email to www4mail@wm.ictp.trieste.it . Get a web page by sending email with the following message body:
GET http://www.yahoo.com/
The subject body can be empty .
- Fooling by changing the name :- There are many websites available on the Internet that allow you to change the URL name . Suppose your proxy server has been designed to block google.com . So you can go to tinyurl.com or simmilar websites and later open the shortened url .!
So , enjoy surfing and do see my second post for more ways to unblock the Internet !
